Meet Stephanie

Hello, I'm Stephanie, and welcome to Littler Quilts.

I'm the designer and maker behind every quilt and crochet blanket you'll find here. I work from my home studio in Cheshire, where every piece is carefully made by hand using quality fabrics and yarns, with plenty of coffee (and usually a biscuit!) close by.

I love creating quilts that are personal to each family. Sometimes it starts with a favourite animal or a nursery colour scheme, other times it's inspired by tractors, dinosaurs or woodland adventures. Whatever the starting point, I enjoy working with my customers to create something that's unique to their little one.

Unlike a mass-produced quilt, every personalised quilt I make is individually designed, carefully stitched and finished by me from start to finish. It's a process that takes time, but I believe that's exactly what makes handmade gifts so special.

I also create ready-made quilts and crochet blankets for those looking for a thoughtful gift that's ready to be enjoyed straight away. Every design is chosen with the same care and attention, whether it's made to order or ready to send.

One of the best parts of my job is seeing photographs of quilts in their new homes—draped over a cot, spread out for story time or becoming a favourite blanket for everyday cuddles. Knowing they've become part of family life makes all the hours spent designing and sewing worthwhile.

When I'm not in my sewing room, you'll usually find me walking my Westie, searching for inspiration in beautiful fabrics, or enjoying a good coffee while planning my next quilt design.
